I’ve made a lot of friendships already throughout my journey. I think I’ve solidified friendships from the past and weeded out some friends who weren’t there to support. I’ve also been going to Gilda’s Club and support group there. And so I’ve made some friends through that. My social worker at Northwestern has also been a tremendous support for me in terms of the more financial and resource-based support.
