What I can say is that this program in Oncofertility is the absolute first in the nation to really try to marry together the issues and concerns of a patient, with bridging oncology and fertility in a blended fashion together with cutting-edge research. And so what we think we’re doing is really creating a new vortex in which patients can get information and can have access to cutting-edge new technology that will be valuable to their lives.

And so that’s really the purpose of this Consortium, is to ensure that this information is transmitted as effectively and as rapidly as possible, that the pace and quality of basic science is done as effectively and as rapidly as possible, and that the clinicians really have the information they need to ensure that they know what the new technology is and what the patient needs are. So bringing this triad together is really the goal of the Oncofertility Consortium.
